University of Suffolk rebrands to reflect new status

mpec design have seen that the University of Suffolk has been rebranded by 'Only Studio' to better reflect its newly acquired full university status.

It was formerly called the 'University Campus Suffolk' and the name change and new look are a response to the university no longer needing to have its degrees signed off by other institutions.

This new branding, which is common when a company changes it's name or market, has an angle, which is created at the bottom of the square as a symbolic gesture, showing Suffolk’s south easterly location in the British Isles and the yellow, grey and white palette, that was chosen for its “non-traditional feel”.

With new branding comes amended guidelines, and these would then be rolled out across their website, prospectuses and campaigns.
